The purpose of this piece is to argue and persuade. The intended audience was for a formal, academic audience of highly educated individuals. As I was writing this piece I asked myself what could I possible talk about? How am I suppose to relate my thesis to the commercial? How am I going to come up with a thesis statement?. The only thing I learned from this piece is how people perceive biracial families and how they treat them. Biracial families aren’t any different from families of the same color. the strengths of this piece would be the structure of the sentences. The weakness of this piece would be the organization of each paragraph, the style, development, and grammar. What was our reasoning for writing this piece?.
